The annual Donut Dash 5K+ is coming up this Saturday in St. Joseph to benefit three local downtown destinations.

Kristi Bailey, with the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce, says The Donut Dash is a fun way to support the Patee House Museum, Mount Mora Cemetary and Robidoux Row.

“The Donut Dash is a 5K+ that goes through downtown St. Joseph. We start at the Patee House Museum. We go by Robidoux Row and through Mount Mora Cemetary. Its a fundraiser for those three organizations.”

Along the route, participants can stop at designated watering holes to take a quick drink and enjoy the donut holes at Gold-N-Glaze Donut & Coffee Shop.

Bailey says there is still time to signup for the event. “Between now and Saturday, its $45.00 because we have passed the early bird deadline but you can still get in.”

Registration will take place at 7:30 Saturday morning, with the 5K beginning at 8:00 at the Patee House Museum. Cash payments will not be accepted onsite. To register, visit the website runsignup.com.

Participants will finish at Gold-N-Glaze where they can partake of donut holes and coffee.

A shuttle service will be provided to return participants back to the start location.

Bailey notes that refunds will not be given, and the event will take place rain or shine. Pets are welcome to attend.
