HOLT COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 11:30a.m. Sunday in Holt County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Chevy Silverado driven by an 18-year-old Oregon man was northbound on Interstate 29 just north of U.S. 159.
The pickup traveled off the road and struck the left rear side of a 2013 Mack Truck that was stationary on the east shoulder of the highway. After impact, the pickup traveled off the road and overturned down an embankment.
Holt County EMS transported the teen driver and a 19-year-old passenger from Plattsburg to Mosaic Life Care. The truck driver from Oklahoma was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
