ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect for an alleged violent crime.

On Sunday, police arrested 44-year-old  Chad M. Starling, 44, Atchison, in the 1300 Block of Santa Fe, according to police Chief Mike Wilson.

Starling is being held on a requested charges of domestic battery and on a Platte County Missouri warrant for probation violation.
