CLINTON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 10p.m. Saturday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Ford Mustang driven by a 49-year-old NeKoosa, Wisconsin, man was entering the highway from the southbound rest area and picking up speed. The driver was inattentive and rear-ended the towed unit of a 1985 American General M934 Truck driven by a 33-year-old Infanti, Minnesota man.
Holt County EMS transported the Wisconsin man to Liberty Hospital. The truck driver was not injured. Both were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
