GENTRY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 4:30p.m. Friday in Gentry County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2021 Jeep Cherokee driven by a 59-year-old Bethany man was westbound on U.S. 136 at N Hundley Street in Albany. The driver was attempting to turn south at the intersection and did not yield to an eastbound 2013 Toyota Venza driven by a 68-year-old Albany woman. The Toyota struck the Jeep.
A private vehicle transported the Toyota driver to Mosaic in Albany. There were no other injuries. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
