Latto has shared a star-studded trailer to announce her new album, ‘Sugar Honey Iced Tea’. The rapper posted on her socials with the caption: Sugar Honey Iced Tea 8/9 pre-save in my bio”

The trailer to announce the album, narrated by Big Rube, features cameo appearances from T.I. and 2 Chainz. Rube narrates in the clip: “While y’all was hopscotching and Double Dutching, she was straight dropping lyrics and hustling. Well on her way to taking over the city, even then. A young queen rises. A crown gleaming in the Georgia son. Spitting bars on the playground. Now, the ATL sky is lit by her ascension, a testament to her hustle. Her skill can’t go unmentioned. A peach in the orchard, so sweet and so strong. The essence of Atlanta embraced in every song. Her influence is almost more than words can define it to be. Big Latto is the next generation, a leading lady of Atlanta’s rap dynasty. Sugar Honey Iced Tea, sip you some.”  Latto also previews a few new tunes in the trailer, including one that sampled the Trap Muzik creator’s 2003 hit “24’s.”

Sugar Honey Iced Tea will be Latto’s first album since her sophomore effort, ‘777’ (2022), which peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard 200 chart. 777 featured the 21 Savage-assisted “Wheelie,” “Sunshine,” and the hit track “Big Energy,” with appearances from Lil Durk, Lil Wayne, Childish Gambino, Nardo Wick, and Kodak Black.
